COTT & CO.
Brand Design
Objective:
To work with an RGD mentor (Marlo Biasutti) and create a branding project based on the mentor brief. Marlo had given me a fictitious company Cott & co. an organic cotton clothing company and I was to create a brand book with her guidance and support.

Process:
This project was exciting to work on because I had the opportunity to work with an RGD mentor outside of the school setting. It was a 1:1 project and we met about 5 times over a 2 month period through zoom calls. The brief was to come up with a logo and small branding book for an organic cotton clothing company called Cott & co. I had a hard time starting the process of designing a logo for the brand. I originally thought Cott & co. would be a clothing company for children and struggled when coming up with logo ideas as you can see in my thumbnails. After going back to Marlow she told me to make up a fictitious client and ask them a series of questions based on the brand. This helped a lot because I changed the direction of the brand. Cott & co. turned out to  be an outdoor, active lifestyle brand made for people who identify as androgynous/ non-binary.
